Section 3 is a provision of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act that mandates that preference should be given to businesses that provide employment and economic opportunities to low-income individuals in the project area.
To become a vendor, interested parties are encouraged to fill out our Bidders List Application form. Once submitted, our team will review your information and contact you if your services align with our current needs and requirements.
County Housing expects vendors to meet certain criteria, including appropriate licensing and certifications, adherence to industry standards, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and a demonstrated commitment to quality and ethical business practices. Additionally, vendors must be able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery.
Contractors working with County Housing must also provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) before beginning work.
