County Housing’s Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program provides long-term, affordable housing options at specific rental properties across St. Louis County. These homes are part of a HUD-supported initiative that connects residents with safe, quality housing and local resources.

How the Program Works

PBVs are tied to specific units—not portable like traditional Housing Choice Vouchers.
Eligible residents apply for units at PBV-designated properties.
Rent is based on household income, just like with tenant-based vouchers.
County Housing partners with trusted landlords and developers to maintain high-quality homes and services.
